Where to Meet Montana Alpine Guides

From Big Sky
Take a left (north) on Highway 191 and drive approximately 13 miles toward Bozeman. A flashing yellow light warning you of curves indicates that you are getting close. About one quarter of a mile past this light, you will cross a bridge. Continue 0.6 of a mile past the bridge to mile 62 (marker on right). Park in the pullout on the left directly across from marker 62. This pullout is your meeting spot. Total drive time is 40 minutes.

From Bozeman:
The mileage from Bozeman is calculated from the outskirts of the city limits at the intersection of College and Main. Go west 5.3 miles to the intersection of Highway 191 and Montana 84 and 85. This area is called Four Corners. At the stop light, make a left onto Highway 191 toward West Yellowstone and Big Sky. Continue south on Highway 191 for 21.4 miles. At mile 62 (marker on left), pull into the pullout on the right side of the road. This pullout is your meeting spot. If you cross the bridge, you have gone too far. Total drive time is 30 minutes.
